Twizy emergency call malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2020 electric Twizy displayed an emergency call system malfunction, with an error stored in memory and a warning light. Possible causes included issues with fuses, the need for a system reset, or defective cable or plug connections. Suggested solutions involved checking fuses, attempting a system reset by disconnecting the battery, and inspecting cable connections. Ultimately, a workshop visit revealed a defective connection as the cause, which was resolved for a cost.

A system reset? Where would one typically locate the fuse related to the emergency call system? And is there a standard procedure for initiating a system reset on these Twizys?

I'm not 100% sure on the Twizy specifically, but the fuse box is usually under the dash or near the battery. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes for a reset. If that doesn't work, it might be a defective cable or plug connection. If the error persists after these steps, I'd recommend a workshop visit before your next inspection.

A trip to the workshop was in order. You were spot on about the cable or plug connection. It was a defective connection. The bill came to 95€. Thank you for your insights!

Emergency call failure is not good. Have you checked the basics, like fuses? Maybe try a system reset? Did the error appear after any specific event?
