Thanks. I'll check the connections. When you say 'similar experience,' was it the exact same error message and symptoms?

The exact error message may have differed slightly, but the symptoms were identical: battery warning lights, reduced power, and the car eventually cutting out completely. Given the potential dangers, I would strongly advise having a qualified technician diagnose the issue. In my case, a faulty battery cell was the culprit. I would avoid any troubleshooting by yourself. Better safe than sorry.

Appreciate the input. Confirmed, workshop diagnosis pointed to a defective battery module. Repair cost 290€ including labour. Thanks again for the advice.

I had a similar experience with my 2019 Renault Zoe. Constant battery drain warnings and eventual system shutdown. Have you checked for cable damage or corrosion around the battery terminals? A faulty ground connection can also cause havoc.
