UrbanCruiser AC problem

Interesting. A pressure sensor, you say? I've checked the fuses, all seem fine. How would I go about checking the refrigerant level myself? Is it something a regular DIYer can tackle, or does it require special tools?

While you could potentially check the refrigerant pressure with a gauge set, it is often best left to a professional. Like checking the voltage of electricity, you can do it yourself, but you risk injury if you are not trained. A workshop can properly diagnose the system, check for leaks, and recharge it if needed. If it is not that, it still sounds like a defective valve.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a trusted workshop, and it turned out to be individual valves in the AC system, just as I suspected. The repair set me back 1000€, but at least it's sorted now.

I had a similar cooling problem with my old Opel Astra, though the root cause was slightly different. The system wouldn't kick on at all. It ended up being a faulty pressure sensor that was preventing the compressor from engaging. Have you checked the basics like fuses and refrigerant levels?
