Thanks for your reply! The error message doesn't specify the error, but after going to a workshop they told me it is likely the display defective. Any ideas or help?

If the workshop suggests a defective display, that seems like a probable cause, given the symptoms. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do yourself to diagnose it further without specialized equipment. Replacing the display or the entire head unit seems to be the only option to get this resolved.

Thank you so much for your insights! I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. The workshop confirmed the faulty display and it got replaced, all in all for 725€. The audio system is now working perfectly again. The suggested keywords are speaker crackle, Bluetooth problem, audio quality, head unit, and static noise.

I had a similar issue with my UrbanCruiser. The symptoms sound very familiar. Does the error message point to anything specific, like a communication error or a fault in the amplifier circuit? Check the fuses first, but it could be the head unit itself. These can be notoriously unreliable.
