Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, the hissing definitely gets louder as the engine revs up. I did a quick look at the hoses, but I didn't really poke around too much. Which sensor are you thinking of? And how would I even check it?

For me, it ended up being a faulty boost pressure sensor. The symptoms were almost identical. Honestly, with those kinds of issues, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They have the tools to properly diagnose it. You don't want to mess around with the turbocharger system without knowing what you're doing.

Okay, I understand. Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on - it was the boost pressure sensor! They said the cable or plug connection was defective. They replaced it for 95€, and now it runs like new again. I really appreciate the advice!

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my UrbanCruiser. Does the hissing sound change with engine speed? Have you checked the hoses around the intake manifold for any cracks or loose connections? It could also be a sensor issue.
