UrbanCruiser mirror heating fault

My 2012 Toyota UrbanCruiser diesel has developed a fault with the mirror heating. Neither side is working, and the diagnostic tool shows an error stored in the memory. I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine. Any ideas before I start digging deeper?

Whoa, mirror heating problems, eh? I had something similar with my UrbanCruiser. Drove me nuts! Is it possibly the cable or plug connection? That's what caused mine to fail. Check those before you do anything else.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly did you find the faulty connection? Was it difficult to access? Any special tools needed?

Yeah, it was a pain to get to. I'm no mechanic but I think it's best to take it to the workshop. That's what I did.

Took the UrbanCruiser to the workshop, and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks for the advice!
