UrbanCruiser rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Toyota UrbanCruiser diesel is experiencing rough engine running, a check engine light, and an error message indicating "reset quantity drift compensation." The issue is suspected to be related to the injectors. A similar problem was resolved by having a workshop perform a compensation adjustment via diagnostics, confirming a defective injector as the cause. After replacing the injector, the vehicle returned to smooth operation.

Fuel economy does seem a bit off, now that you mention it. What did you end up doing to fix it? Any special reset procedure needed?

Yep, sounds like the same injector issue. There's no real reset procedure you can do yourself, unfortunately. It needs a compensation adjustment via diagnostics. Best bet is a workshop. I know, sucks, but they'll sort it.

Cheers. Took it to the shop. Defective injector, as suspected. 515€ later, it's running smooth again.

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen on my UrbanCruiser. Rough running, the whole shebang. Did you notice any drop in fuel economy? It's like the engine's trying to run on fumes, even when it's not.
