Urvan air valve issue

My 2010 Nissan Urvan with a gasoline engine has a check engine light that keeps coming on. The OBD scan points to an air valve issue. I've checked the air intake, throttle body, and air supply hoses. I suspect the hose connection from the pump to the valve is defective. Anyone else experience this?

I had a similar issue with my old Ford Mondeo. Check the hose connections thoroughly. A small crack can cause a big vacuum leak and trigger the check engine light.

Thanks! Did you resolve it yourself, or did you have to take it to a shop? Any idea what the repair cost was?

I initially tried to fix it myself, but the leak was hard to pinpoint. Eventually, I took it to a workshop. They identified a split in the hose and replaced it. I would suggest you do the same.

Thanks. I took the Urvan to a trusted local shop, and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve. They replaced it, and the check engine light is gone. Final repair cost was 175€.
