Urvan Automatic Transmission Undervoltage

Thanks. The slipping happens sometimes, regardless of engine temperature. I'll check the hydraulic fluid. If it's degraded, would a transmission flush be enough, or could undervoltage cause that? Also, are we talking about ATF?

Intermittent slipping does sound like my issue. A flush might help for a bit, but degraded fluid is usually a symptom, not the cause. Undervoltage can mess with sensor readings and solenoid operation in the transmission, leading to fluid degradation and shifting problems. I'd suggest taking it to someone with diagnostic tools to check the TCU and wiring harness.

Thanks for the advice. The ATF was indeed significantly degraded. I took it to a workshop, and they found undervoltage was the cause. The repair, including a transmission flush and fixing the electrical issue, cost 240€.

I had similar issues with my Urvan. Is it slipping between gears, especially when cold? Check the hydraulic fluid level and condition first; dark, burnt fluid often indicates a major problem. When was the last time you had a transmission flush?
