V Klasse fog sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mercedes V Klasse is experiencing a fog sensor error, leading to issues with the AC, freezing spray nozzles, and non-functional mirror heating. Diagnostics suggest a potential cable or plug issue. It is recommended to inspect the sensor for dirt or blockage and check connections, but professional assistance may be necessary to resolve the deeper fault, with a repair estimate of 95€.

Thanks for your reply. Could you give me more details on where the sensor is located and how to check it? Did you also have freezing spray nozzles? Did you fix it yourself?

I didn't have the freezing nozzle issue. The sensor is behind the front bumper, from what I remember. I just had the workshop take care of it. I think it is best to go to a professional.

Thanks. Your experience confirms my suspicion that it's linked to the fog sensor. I'll inspect the connections as best I can, but plan to take it to the workshop as you suggested. The error code and malfunctioning systems pointed to a deeper fault than I can handle without proper tools. The estimate of 95€ seems fair enough. I really appreciate your help.

I had a similar problem with my V Klasse, AC acting up and mirror heating dead. Check the sensor itself, it could be dirty or blocked. Where is the car sensor located?
