Thanks for the reply I haven't done any other diagnostics Can you tell me more about the sensor and how you found the wiring fault

The sensor is part of the keyless entry module in the door handle assembly I found the fault by testing each wire in the harness for continuity and looking for corrosion or damage If you don't have much diagnostic experience, a technician should do a full check A defective cable or plug connection is likely In my case, the workshop found a similar issue and the repair was around 95€
