V Klasse Rear Ventilation Problem

My 2023 Mercedes V Klasse with a gasoline engine has a rear ventilation issue. There's an error about the rear ventilation flap, the climate control is acting up, and the air conditioning isn't cooling properly in the back. I suspect a bad cable or plug to the flap actuator. Has anyone seen this before? Is it a DIY fix or a workshop job?

I had a similar air conditioning problem with my V Klasse. Diagnostics pointed to a fault with the air circulation, also related to a flap actuator. Have you looked at the fuse box? A blown fuse can trigger these issues.

Thanks! I glanced at the fuses, but I'll check again more carefully. Was your problem only with the rear ventilation, or the whole HVAC system? Did you fix it yourself, or take it to a shop?

My air conditioning was affected throughout the vehicle, not just the rear. Considering the error code and symptoms, it sounds like a bad connection or the actuator itself. While a DIY fix is tempting, I'd suggest a workshop. They can accurately diagnose it and replace the part if needed. It's worth the check to prevent further system damage.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the accessible connections, but no luck. I took it to the workshop and they verified a faulty connection to the flap actuator, as suspected. The repair was 95€. At least the air conditioning is cold again!
