V40 Climate Control Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Volvo V40 diesel is experiencing climate control issues, including a non-functional panel, error messages, low heating output, and a non-operational AC. The fuses have been checked, ruling them out as the cause. Possible causes include a blower motor issue, electronic faults in the HVAC system, or a defective temperature sensor. The problem was ultimately traced to a defective plug, which was repaired at a workshop.

Thanks, I haven't checked the blower motor or temperature sensor, but I suspected an electronic fault. What was the cause with your Opel Astra?

It was a defective connection. I fixed it myself, but I'd recommend a workshop if you're not familiar with car electrics. I've seen professionals resolve similar issues.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. I'm back from the workshop. It was a defective plug, and the repair including diagnostics cost 95€.

I had a similar issue with my 2012 Opel Astra. Climate control failure and error messages. Have you checked the blower motor or other electronic faults related to the HVAC system? The temperature sensor could also be the problem.
