V40 massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Volvo V40 owner reported a non-functional driver's seat massage feature, with a dead switch and a stored error, despite the fuses being fine. A suggestion was made to check the cable and plug connection under the seat, as a similar issue in another vehicle was due to a faulty connection. Upon inspection by a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a defective cable connection, which was subsequently repaired.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't looked at the wiring yet. Was it difficult to access the cable and plug in your BMW?

Access wasn't too bad, but the space is tight. If you're not comfortable poking around, it might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. Could save you some headaches.

Took it to the shop, and you were spot on! Defective cable connection under the seat. They fixed it for 95€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar issue with the massage seat in my old BMW 5 series. It was a faulty connection. Have you checked the cable and plug connection under the seat?
