The temperature gauge does seem to fluctuate more than usual, yes. Could you elaborate on your experience with the thermostat? What exactly was happening, and how did you resolve it?

Yep, same here with the gauge. Erratic readings, overheating on and off. I just took it to a workshop; they sorted it out. Probably best to get yours checked too.

Sounds familiar. I had similar overheating problems with my V40. Check your thermostat. Is the temperature gauge behaving erratically?
