V50 AC not cooling
Summary of the thread
The 2006 Volvo V50 diesel has an AC issue where it has stopped cooling and doesn't engage. The suspected cause is faulty valves, though other potential causes like the AC relay and pressure switch were considered. The solution involved replacing individual valves, with the repair costing approximately 1000€.

Where is the AC relay located in the V50's electrical system? Also, were there any specific error codes with the pressure switch failure in your experience?

The AC relay is usually in the main fuse box, check your manual. I didn't read the error codes for the pressure switch, I just took it to the workshop.

I had a similar problem with my V50, but it was a petrol engine. First thing to check is the AC relay and the pressure switch. Sometimes they fail without warning. Have you checked those?
