V50 electric seat faulty
Summary of the thread
The passenger electric seat on a 2004 Volvo V50 diesel was faulty, with an error stored and no seat adjustment possible. The suspected cause was a discharged or defective battery, which had been an issue recently. After taking the car to a shop, it was confirmed that the problem was due to a bad connection caused by low battery voltage. The repair was completed at a cost of 290€.

Thanks. Where exactly is the seat harness located? Is it easy to access?

It's usually under the seat. You can feel around for it. TBH with electrics I just take it to a workshop. If it's not the harness, you may risk messing more things up

Alright, makes sense. I took it to the shop, and it turned out to be a bad connection due to the low battery voltage like I thought. Repair cost 290€.

I had a similar issue with my BMW. Electric seats just wouldn't budge. Did you check the seat harness and power seat fuse? Could be a simple fix.
