V50 Headlight Washer Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Volvo V50 owner experienced a malfunction with both the headlight and windshield washers, suspecting a cable or relay issue. Another owner suggested checking for leaks around the shared reservoir or pump, as these components are part of the same system. Ultimately, a certified technician identified a defective connection as the cause, and the repair cost was 165€.

Thanks for the reply. Where should I look for leaks? Any specific parts or areas that usually fail?

I'm no expert, but the shop mentioned a shared reservoir or pump. Check around there? Mine was under warranty, so I took it in. Probably best to get it checked.

Hey! Similar issue with my V50, newer model though. Windshield washer stopped with the headlight washers. Must be same system. Did you check for leaks?
