I haven't load tested the battery yet, no. Just visually inspected it. What kind of voltage drop would be considered significant enough to cause this behavior? I'm assuming the start-stop system is particularly sensitive to voltage fluctuations.

Indeed. The start-stop system requires a very healthy battery. A drop below 12V under load is usually enough to disable the system. Given the symptoms and the car's age, a new battery is likely the solution. However, to be completely sure I would recommend a professional diagnostic check at a local workshop.

Thanks for the confirmation. It seems my suspicions were correct. Replaced the battery, and the start-stop is functioning normally again. Total cost was 290€ Appreciate the advice.

That sounds like classic start-stop malfunction symptoms. The error memory is a key indicator. Have you checked the battery's voltage under load? A heavily discharged or defective battery is a prime suspect for these kinds of issues, especially with the mileage you're reporting.
