V50 Tire Pressure Error
Summary of the thread
A 'Tire pressure too low' error appeared on a 2006 Volvo V50, despite the tires being fine. This issue could be due to a dead tire pressure sensor battery or a faulty sensor. A similar case was resolved by replacing the sensor, suggesting a workshop visit for diagnosis and potential sensor replacement.

The error appeared spontaneously, without hitting a curb or anything. Were your symptoms the same?

That sounds very similar. In my case, the error was persistent even after checking the tire pressures. It turned out to be a faulty sensor. If the error is consistent, a workshop visit might be necessary. The replacement set me back approximately 280€.

I'll schedule a workshop appointment to check the sensor. Thanks for sharing your experience and the cost estimate.

Interesting issue. I've got a V50 myself and had something similar happen last year. Did the error pop up randomly, or was there a specific event that triggered it? I'm wondering if it is the same issue I had.
