Thanks. Where's the flasher relay and how do I test it? I've looked at the lens, but maybe not closely enough. Where should I focus my inspection?

I can't remember the exact flasher relay location, sorry. But for the lens, check the edges and corners really well. Hairline cracks can be hard to see. Honestly, with the error messages, I think you may want to go straight to a reputable workshop with experience working on Volvos. They can do a proper diagnostic and pinpoint the exact issue before you start replacing parts unnecessarily.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take it to a workshop. Seems best to avoid making things worse myself. I'll post what they find for others to see. Thanks again.

I know your frustration. I had a similar ordeal with my V50's turn signal. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong. Did you check the flasher relay? That's a common culprit. Also, have you visually inspected the lens for any cracks or damage? A broken lens can let moisture in and cause all sorts of electrical gremlins with the turn indicator light.
