V60 AdBlue Pump Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Volvo V60 diesel displayed an 'AdBlue tank empty' message, preventing the engine from starting. The issue was suspected to be a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar case revealed that a faulty AdBlue pump was the cause, and replacing it resolved the problem. The suggested solution was to have the pump checked and potentially replaced at a workshop, which successfully fixed the issue.

No leaks that I could see, everything seems dry. Was the defective AdBlue output the cause in your case too? What was the fix?

Yep, turned out to be a faulty pump. I'd suggest you have it checked at a workshop. The repair was around 250€.

Thanks! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – the AdBlue pump was indeed defective. Got it replaced, and all is well now. Cost me around 250€, just like you said. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue on my V60, though I didn't run it completely dry. Same symptoms - error message and refusal to start. Did you notice any leaks around the tank or the dosing unit?
