V60 Central Locking Failure

Central locking on my 2020 Volvo V60 diesel has completely stopped working. I can't lock or unlock the doors using the remote or the button inside. There's an error message stored, but the fuses seem fine. I suspect a cable or plug connection issue. Anyone experienced anything similar?

That sounds annoying! I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot 308. The remote locking just died. Have you tried checking the wiring loom where it enters the door? That's where my issue was. Constant opening and closing had fatigued the wires and they eventually broke.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the wiring loom located? Is it something I can easily access myself, or does it require special tools?

It's usually behind the door card, where the wires run from the car body into the door. On the Peugeot, it was a real pain to get to. Honestly, if you're not comfortable messing with car electrics, it might be worth getting a professional to take a look. I ended up taking mine to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local garage, and you were right, it was a defective plug connection. They fixed it for 95€ I really appreciate the help!
