Thanks for the insight. I haven't checked the flap actuator yet. Is it easily accessible, or would I need special tools to inspect it? I am trying to assess if there is an exhaust blockage.

On my Insignia, it was somewhat accessible, but visibility was limited. Without proper tools, identifying the issue might be difficult. Given your symptoms and the error code, I would suggest a workshop diagnosis to confirm the defective exhaust flap and estimate the repair cost. I paid 180€ for the repair.

Sounds plausible. I had similar symptoms on my 2017 Opel Insignia diesel. The exhaust noise was definitely a giveaway. Have you checked the flap actuator? Is it visibly damaged or showing signs of malfunction?
