A 2023 Volvo V60 hybrid is experiencing a check engine light, power loss, and bluish smoke during acceleration. Thanks for the tip! I'll check that out. And yes, the smoke is sort of bluish. Is the crankcase ventilation valve something I can replace myself, or is it better left to a professional?

Honestly, unless you're really comfortable working on engines, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It's not the most accessible part, and if you mess something up, it could lead to bigger problems. Think of it like replacing a light bulb versus rewiring your house – one is easy, the other is best left to an expert. I ended up paying around 360€ for the repair, including the part and labor.

Appreciate the advice! I'll book it in at the workshop. Sounds like a crankcase ventilation valve malfunction is the likely culprit. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar happen with my V60. Check your crankcase ventilation valve. The symptoms you described sound a lot like what I experienced when mine went bad. Is the smoke kind of bluish, almost like burning oil?
