V60 Fault Code and Error Messages
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Volvo V60 with a gasoline engine was experiencing fault codes and error messages on the infotainment system and speedometer. The issue persisted despite attempts to reset the codes. A similar problem was resolved by correcting incorrect car coding, which was identified as a potential cause. The solution involved taking the car to a workshop for recoding, which successfully eliminated the error messages.

I haven't done any work on it recently, no. The last time was the regular maintenance. It's been a while now. What was the actual problem with yours?

Turns out the coding of my car was incorrect somehow! The workshop guys said it was a weird glitch. If resetting the codes didn't work, you'll probably have to take it to a workshop to get it sorted out. It's worth it to get it checked properly before it causes more issues.

Thanks for the info! I took it to the workshop, and you were right – the car's coding was off. They recoded it, and the error messages are gone now. Cost me 360€, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the help!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my V60. Drove me nuts! Same error messages and everything. Did you recently have any work done on the car or mess with any of the settings? I remember that the computer system in those cars is really sensitive.
