V60 Intermittent Starting Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Volvo V60 experienced intermittent starting issues, where the car would crank but not start, occasionally stall, or run rough. The dashboard lights sometimes failed to illuminate when turning the key. The problem was identified as an intermittent connection in the ignition switch. Replacing the ignition switch resolved the issue.

The lights sometimes don't come on at all when I turn the key. Then sometimes they are normal, then the car starts. It's random. Any ideas?

Yep, that sounds exactly like what happened to me. The problem was the ignition switch itself. Intermittent connection. You can try cleaning the contacts, but I recommend taking it to a workshop. They should be able to diagnose and replace it.

Thanks! I took it to a workshop. They replaced the ignition switch, the final cost was 52€. Seems to have fixed the problem.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my V60. No blown fuse for me, but the symptoms sound very similar. Did you notice any pattern with the dashboard lights, like flickering or being dim?
