V60 Power Windows Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Volvo V60 hybrid with 66,952 km has experienced a complete failure of the power windows, with an error stored in the memory. The initial suspicion is a faulty power window switch. A similar issue in another vehicle was caused by a faulty window regulator, suggesting it could be a potential cause. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a workshop to accurately diagnose and resolve the issue.

Thanks for the info! No, there weren't any unusual noises beforehand. It just suddenly stopped working. How did you determine it was the window regulator? Did you have to take apart the door panel to check?

Yes, I had to remove the door panel. After doing that and doing some measurements, the mechanics said it was obviously the window regulator. Considering the stored error and the sudden failure without any prior noises, it's very likely that your power window switch is defective. Given the car's age and complexity, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop. It can save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I was hoping it would be a simple fix, but it sounds like it might be more involved. I'll take it to a trusted workshop and see what they say. I suspect the eventual repair cost will be around 200€. I appreciate your help!

Hello! I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra a while ago. The symptoms sound very familiar. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty window regulator, which caused all sorts of electrical mayhem. I'm not saying it's the same for you, but it's worth investigating. Was there any unusual noise before it stopped working?
