V60 Tire Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Volvo V60 is displaying a 'Tire pressure too low' warning despite the tires being properly inflated. Diagnostic equipment indicates an error related to the tire pressure sensors. The issue may be due to a faulty sensor, possibly caused by a dead sensor battery. The suggested solution is to have the sensor checked and potentially replaced at a garage.

Thanks! The error message doesn't specify which tire. It just says 'Tire pressure too low' with a general warning light. Did yours do the same? If so, how did you fix it?

Yep, mine was the same – just a general warning, no specific tire mentioned. I messed around with it for a bit, trying to reset the system, but nothing worked. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They told me it was likely the sensor battery was dead. Not a huge deal, but they had to replace the sensor. I'd suggest getting yours checked out properly, sounds like the same thing.

Okay, thanks a lot! Sounds like it's probably a dead sensor battery then. I'll book it in with a local garage and get them to take a look. They quoted around 280€ for the sensor replacement, which seems reasonable.

I have a V60 too, though I can't remember the exact year, and I had something similar happen last year. The tire pressure warning kept popping up even though the tires were properly inflated. I’m no expert, but did the error message say which tire was supposedly low? Or was it just a general warning?
