V70 Climate Control Problem

My 2012 Volvo V70 with a gasoline engine has climate control issues. The automatic temperature control no longer works, and there's an error stored. The AC system refuses to switch on. I've checked some basic things, but suspect it's a faulty interior temperature sensor. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Dude, I had almost the exact same problem with my V70! Drove me nuts! Is your AC just blowing hot air, no matter what you set the temp to?

Precisely. It's stuck on hot. If it's the same problem, do you have any insight on how you resolved it?

Yep, sounds like the sensor! Honestly? I fiddled with it for a bit, checking wires and stuff but ended up just taking it to a workshop. Turned out to be a defective cable or plug connection. Cost about 95€ to fix

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I'll be heading to the shop as well. Good to know the approximate cost. Cheers!
