I had a similar issue with my Volvo V70 (different year). Check the sensor and wiring harness. Have you done any diagnostics on the sensor readings? What values are you seeing?

Yep, almost exactly the same. AC wouldn't kick on, and the mirror heating was dead. I’d suggest having it checked at a workshop to save time. Sounds like the same error.

I appreciate the confirmation. I suspected as much. I will have the sensor and wiring inspected at a workshop, considering the symptoms and potential cable/plug issue. I was quoted around 95€ for the sensor replacement.
