Yaw rate sensor, huh? Interesting. The diagnostic scan points directly at the lateral acceleration sensor. Is that the same thing? And what happened with yours?

Ah, lateral acceleration sensor. Yes, in my case it was the affected control unit that was defective. It's all part of the ABS/ESC system. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they need to examine it.

Cheers! That confirms my worst fears. The shop quoted around 1000€, so I guess I'm stuck with it. Thanks for the insight!

I had something similar with my V90. ABS light, system failure... pretty unnerving, right? Did you get a diagnostic scan? You might also want to check your wheel alignment and steering angle. Could be a yaw rate sensor issue.
