V90 AC and rear ventilation flap issue

Interesting! So, you're saying even if the error points to the flap itself, it might just be a loose wire? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but where exactly would I find this connector to check? Is it something easily accessible, or do I need to dismantle half the car?

Yep, a bad connection can throw off the whole system, just like a loose lightbulb can cause a short. On my Astra, it was a pain to get to, but it may be easier on the Volvo. Given your symptoms and the error code, it’s probably worth having a workshop take a look. I ended up paying around 80€ for them to fix the connection.

Okay, that's super helpful. I think I'll take your advice and get it checked out by a professional. Knowing it might just be a connection issue and a potentially cheap fix (the estimate is 95€) makes me feel a lot better! Thanks for the insight!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. The error code pointed to a flap motor, but it turned out to be a faulty connector. Have you checked the wiring and plug connection to the rear ventilation flap motor? That's often the culprit.
