V90 Airbag Warning Lamp

Hey! My 2020 Volvo V90 with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. The airbag warning lamp keeps lighting up in the speedometer. Pretty sure it's a defective cable or plug somewhere in the system, based on what I've read. Anyone else seen this? Really hoping it's not the airbag itself.

The airbag warning lamp illuminating typically indicates a fault within the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Could you provide more detail regarding any diagnostic steps you have undertaken? Are there any stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present?

Diagnostic steps? Haha, nah, just the warning light staring me down. Where do I even begin with DTCs? Is that something I can check myself or does it need special gear?

Whilst some basic OBDII readers can retrieve generic diagnostic trouble codes, Volvo-specific codes often require specialized diagnostic equipment to accurately interpret. Given the safety implications of a malfunctioning SRS, it is recommended to have the system professionally diagnosed. A defective cable or plug is a plausible cause. The eventual repair cost is likely to be around 95€

Okay, thanks for the reality check. Workshop it is! Turns out it WAS a dodgy connector. 95€ later and no more scary light. Cheers!
