V90 Brake Pedal Feedback

Thanks for the quick reply! Braking performance seems normal, and the car doesn't pull to either side. I haven't had the rotors and shoes checked recently. Could a low voltage in the car cause the described issue, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Undervoltage could indeed be a culprit, especially with modern cars relying so heavily on electronic brake systems. If the ABS or stability control systems aren't getting enough power, they might not function correctly, leading to the strange pedal feel you're experiencing. Given your mileage, it's probably best to take it to a workshop and have them check the entire brake system, including the electronic components. It could save you a lot of headaches down the road.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be undervoltage causing the issue. They replaced some worn-out brake shoes while they were at it. Total cost was 240€. Problem solved!

I had a similar issue with my V90. The strange pedal feel could be related to a number of things. Have you noticed any changes in braking performance, like longer stopping distances or pulling to one side? Also, when was the last time you had your brake rotors and shoes checked? It might also be worth checking the brake fluid for contamination.
