V90 crankshaft camshaft error

My 2022 Volvo V90 diesel is throwing a 'crankshaft to camshaft reference value' error. Engine light's on, power's noticeably reduced, and it's drinking fuel. I've checked the basics, but I'm suspecting the crankshaft sensor. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar with my V90. The error code was intermittent at first, then became constant. Same symptoms - reduced power and poor fuel economy. I would suggest you to check also the cam sensor.

Cheers for the quick response! Did the error pop up immediately after you started the car, or only under specific conditions?

In my case, the error occurred randomly. Sometimes at start-up, sometimes after driving for a while. Given your symptoms, I would advise you to visit a certified workshop.

Turns out it WAS the crankshaft sensor, as suspected. Cost me 340€ all in. Thanks for the help!
