V90 Driver Seat Heating Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Volvo V90 hybrid's driver-side seat heating has failed at 121,594 km, with no heat and an error stored. The initial suspicion is a faulty heating mat. After checking the fuse and wiring with no obvious issues, it is suggested to run a diagnostic to confirm the problem. If confirmed, replacing the heating mat is likely necessary, as similar cases have required this solution.

Yeah, I checked the fuse first. Seemed fine. I also checked for obvious wiring issues under the seat, but nothing jumped out. So, when you say 'similar,' was it definitely the heating element in your case?

Yes, turned out to be the heating mat. A real pain. In my case, a trip to the workshop was necessary. They ran a diagnostic and confirmed the faulty mat. I advise you to do the same.

Thanks for the confirmation. Sounds like I'm headed down the same road. Diagnostic and likely a new heating mat are in order. I just got a quote for 390€, parts and labor included. Appreciate the insight!

Sounds familiar. Had a similar problem with my old Saab 9-3. No heat, error code. Did you check the fuse? Sometimes it is something as simple as that.
