V90 emergency call system error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Volvo V90 owner reported an error with the emergency call system, indicated by a message and warning light on the speedometer. A similar issue was resolved by checking the cable and plug connections for the emergency call component, which was found to be a dodgy connection. The suggested solution was to have a workshop inspect and fix the connections, which successfully resolved the issue.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is that component located? I'm not very familiar with automotive electronics.

Yes, that was exactly my problem. I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it yourself if you're not familiar with electronics. Take it to a workshop and have them check the connections. It should be a quick fix.

Thanks for your help! Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a defective cable connection, as you suspected. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

I had something similar in my V90. Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Have you checked the cable and plug connections for the emergency call component? That might be it.
