V90 engine stalling

Indeed, the EVAP system is my primary suspect. Was your issue also related to the fuel tank ventilation? Was leak detection straightforward, or were there specific components that required meticulous inspection?

Precisely! In my case, it turned out to be a defective activated charcoal filter within the fuel tank ventilation system. While I attempted a DIY inspection, I ultimately deferred to a qualified workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis and repair. I suggest you do the same.

I own a V90 as well and experienced comparable symptoms not too long ago. The check engine light accompanied by occasional stalling definitely rings a bell. Have you considered inspecting the EVAP system? A faulty pressure sensor could also be the culprit.
