Ah, that sucks about the spare key. In my case, the key needed to be reprogrammed. Some kind of glitch in the anti-theft system. I'd say get yourself to a workshop, they'll sort it out quick.

Thanks for the help. A technician confirmed it was incorrect key programming, like you said. They reset the immobilizer and reprogrammed the key, and that fixed it. Cost 45€.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot 308. Exact same symptoms! Engine would crank but not fire, or it would start for like a second then die. Turned out to be a dodgy key. Have you tried your spare?
