No unusual noises, but the movement became increasingly slow before it stopped entirely. How did you resolve your issue?

Sounds pretty similar to what I experienced. I tried looking into it myself, but honestly, these things can be tricky. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was indeed the motor and replaced it. Cost me around 330€. Best to get it checked professionally.

I appreciate the information. Seems a visit to the workshop is unavoidable. I will have the motor checked. Thanks again for sharing your experience and the estimated repair cost.

Hello. After having my Volvo V60 T8 serviced and the sunroof seal replaced, the sunroof curtain started making noise and moving asymmetrically until the ends came out... I called the garage. They quoted me €3400 to repair the curtain.... What do you think? Who should I contact?

First, check if the sunroof curtain is properly aligned and if there are any visible obstructions or debris in the tracks. Sometimes, a simple realignment or cleaning can resolve the issue. If the problem persists, it might be worth seeking a second opinion from another garage or a specialist in sunroof repairs to ensure the quote is reasonable. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions!

I had a similar issue with my V90's sunblind. It started acting up and eventually got stuck. Did you notice any unusual noises before it stopped working completely?
