V90 Remote Locking Issue

Experiencing a strange issue with my 2022 Volvo V90, gasoline engine. I'm getting an error stored in the memory, and the remote unlocking/locking has become intermittent. Also, the car now requires the key in the ignition to start; keyless start is disabled. After some digging, it seems to point to a faulty bumper antenna. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? I suspect a cable or plug connection is defective, but any insights would be appreciated before I take it in. Repair cost is estimated around 95€.

I had something similar happen with my V90. Remote functions were acting up, and I recall seeing an antenna-related error at some point. Was yours completely dead, or just finicky?

Thanks for the reply! It's not completely dead, but very finicky. Sometimes it works if I'm close to the car, other times not at all. And now needing the key in the ignition is a new development. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you have to get it professionally sorted?

Mine progressed to the point where it was completely unreliable. Honestly, I didn't try fixing it myself. With all the electronics involved these days, I just took it to the workshop. They identified a faulty connection to the antenna.
