V90 rough idle and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Volvo V90 with approximately 155,987 km is experiencing rough idling, poor starting, increased fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and occasional stalling. Thanks for the reply! I haven't checked for misfires specifically, but the symptoms seem to align. What exactly was the issue with your V90 when you experienced these symptoms?

Turns out, a defective injection nozzle was the culprit. The workshop confirmed that a faulty injection valve was causing the misfires and other performance issues. Cost me around 515€ to get it sorted. I'd recommend getting it checked out professionally.

Thanks for the insight! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a shop to get the injection system checked. Hopefully, that will solve the issue.

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my V90. Have you checked for any misfires? Clogging in the injection system can definitely cause those issues, especially with higher mileage. Could even be a diesel issue, though that's less likely with a gasoline engine.
