V90 Smartphone Connectivity Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Volvo V90 owner is experiencing smartphone connectivity issues, with an error stored in the vehicle's memory. The problem is not related to the drivetrain, brakes, transmission, or ignition system but is likely due to incorrect phone pairing. A similar issue was resolved by deleting the phone from the car's system and re-pairing it, which was confirmed to be an effective solution. The owner plans to visit a workshop to address the problem.

Thanks. When you say 'similar,' do you mean the exact same error and symptoms? Did you also see an error stored in the memory? Just want to be sure we're on the same page.

Yeah, it was the exact same issue. Error in memory and phone wouldn't connect. I spent ages trying to fix it myself but eventually took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a pairing issue as well. They sorted it pretty quickly.

Thanks. I appreciate the confirmation. I'll schedule a visit to the workshop. Incorrect pairing it is! The repair came to about 45€. The issue is now resolved.

I had something similar with my V90. Couldn't get my phone to pair properly, and it kept throwing errors. Have you tried completely deleting the phone from the car's system and then re-pairing it?
