Vanette fuel pressure issue

Hey, got a weird one. My 2009 Nissan Vanette diesel is acting up. Check engine light's on, rough running, stalls at idle, and jerks when accelerating. Seems like a fuel issue, right? I'm suspecting the fuel pressure sensor. Could a dodgy cable or plug connection be the culprit here? Mileage is at 197776 km.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Nissan Vanette (don't remember the exact year, sorry). Was it throwing any codes related to fuel delivery or the fuel pump? It could also be related to the fuel injector.

Good point! I did check the codes, and it points directly to the fuel pressure sensor. Could a faulty sensor really cause all those symptoms, or is it more likely something else causing the sensor to throw an error?

Yeah, a faulty fuel pressure sensor can definitely cause those symptoms. It messes with the fuel/air mixture. But since you already checked the cables and plug, and they seem fine, maybe it's time to visit a workshop. I ended up doing that.

Thanks! I'll take it to the shop. Turns out it WAS the fuel pressure sensor and the cable. Replaced both for 95€, and now it runs smoothly again. Appreciate the help!
