Vauxhall Adam Airbag Warning Light

I own a 2016 Vauxhall Adam with a gasoline engine. The airbag warning lamp lights up in the speedometer. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Mileage is 157597 km. Any advice?

I had a similar issue with my Adam. The restraint system warning light came on intermittently. Have you checked the airbag sensor connections under the seats? They can sometimes become loose or corroded.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly are those airbag sensor connections located? And would that cause the light to stay on constantly?

They're usually right under the front seats, easily visible. In my case, the light was intermittent. Since yours is constant, it might be more serious. I ended up having the dealer check it with their diagnostic tools. Might be worth a visit to the workshop.

Thanks. I took your advice and had it checked. Turns out it was a faulty connector, as suspected. Repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the help!
