Vauxhall Adam engine stalls after fuel filter change
Summary of the thread
After changing the fuel filter on a 2018 Vauxhall Adam, the engine began stalling at idle, the check engine light illuminated, and there was a noticeable reduction in engine power. The initial suspicion was a defective fuel pressure regulator. A similar issue was resolved by checking the fuel rail and replacing a faulty pressure sensor, which fixed the problem.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't specifically checked for a pressure drop, but it's certainly a likely culprit given the symptoms and the timing. Can you elaborate on what you experienced and how you identified the fuel rail as a potential issue?

For me it was similar, with misfires at idle. I would advise that you go to the workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a workshop and have the fuel pressure regulator checked. It was exactly that. New pressure sensor installed for 45€, problem solved!

Hello. I also drive an Adam, and your symptoms sound familiar. Could be a pressure sensor issue related to the fuel system. Was there a pressure drop? Did you check the fuel rail?
