Vauxhall Adam oxygen sensor issue

Experiencing issues with my 2012 Vauxhall Adam, gasoline engine, 60903 km mileage. Error stored, check engine light is on, and fuel consumption is high. Diagnostics suggest a failing oxygen sensor, possibly a defective cable or plug. Has anyone seen similar exhaust or air-fuel ratio problems on this model?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms on my older BMW - check engine light, higher fuel consumption... Turned out to be a faulty O2 sensor as well. Have you checked the sensor's voltage output?

Voltage output is within nominal range, but the signal response time seems sluggish. Given your BMW experience, did you notice any other indicators besides the standard symptoms?

Not really, just the usual. The error codes were pretty clear about the O2 sensor. Considering your Adam's age, it might be time for a replacement. I'd recommend a workshop visit.

The oxygen sensor was indeed the issue. Replaced it for 95€. Thanks for the confirmation.
