Vauxhall Adam start stop fault

I think the start-stop is super sensitive to the battery's health. If the car thinks the battery isn't up to scratch, it disables the system to save power and avoid getting stranded.

Well, without testing I can't be sure it's the same problem. For me, it turned out the battery was on its way out. I'd recommend getting your battery checked at a workshop. They'll be able to tell you if it's holding enough charge to run the start-stop system reliably.
