Vauxhall Adam Tailgate Sensor Fault

Oh, I had something similar with my Adam! The automatic tailgate is usually quite reliable, isn't it? Was it the same sensor fault, and did it also affect the tailgate motor?

Yes, it was definitely the same issue with the tailgate sensor, and the symptoms were practically identical. I had to take it to a workshop to get it sorted. Seems like the best thing to do?

Thanks for confirming. I got it checked out, and it was a defective connection. A repair fixed it for 95€.
